Rob Robinson                             

During summers in college Rob worked at the Interlochen Arts Camp in Traverse City Michigan. It was there that he got the music bug and the inspiration to begin learning guitar. Upon graduating from Michigan State University “Go Spartans” he mixed his interest in the entertainment industry with his training in public relations to coordinate media event and manage public appearances for exercise guru Richard Simons. After a couple years Rob shifted gears and moved to information technology where he has spent most of his career. However his heart has never strayed far from the entertainment industry and music. While honing his guitar skills on the side, Rob became an accomplished sound engineering running the house system for a variety of local events and national acts including Cindy Morgan and Mark Lowry. In addition Rob mixed his IT talents with his entertainment interests by building website for up and coming local Detroit acts. Two year ago Rob stepped from behind the sound board to begin playing guitar in public. Since then he has never looked back. At the gracious invitation of Sunny Sundberg Rob joined Spirit’sWind in 2006 as guitar and mandlin player. In addition, Rob helps out by being the bands promoter, booking agent and web master. For Rob it’s a fun new ride way too long in the making.
